About me

I’m a friendly and approachable Dentistry student with a strong academic background, having achieved 3 A*s at A-level. I understand how challenging A Levels can be, particularly when there is a lot of new content to learn and apply. My approach to tutoring is centred around understanding rather than simply memorising. I break difficult concepts down into clear, manageable steps and use diagrams, examples, questioning and active recall to help students develop a strong understanding of the subject. I particularly enjoy helping students get ahead of their lessons by introducing new content in a clear and accessible way, so they can feel more confident when they encounter it in class. I also adapt my lessons to each student’s individual needs, whether they need help with a specific topic, want to strengthen their foundations, or are preparing for exams. Having recently gone through the A-level process myself and now studying Dentistry, I understand the demands of studying science at a high level and the importance of developing effective study habits alongside subject knowledge. My aim is for every student to leave a lesson feeling more confident, with a clearer understanding of the content and the ability to apply what they have learned independently.
