About me

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths and Physics tutor with experience supporting GCSE students through school schemes as well as tutoring A-level Maths students. I like to work through problems alongside the student and identify potential gaps in their understanding. I then break the problem down into smaller parts, explain the underlying idea and gradually build back up to more challenging questions, before ultimately ensuring the student is able to apply these ideas independently. I make sure my teaching is closely aligned with the relevant exam board specifications, with a clear focus on developing exam technique as well as the knowledge needed to perform confidently in their assessments. I’m going to study Physics at Durham University and am particularly keen to support students studying Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-level.
