Alicia Swanson, Maths and Physics Tutor

About me

Hi, my name is Alicia! I am currently in my third year of studying Physics with Philosophy, so every day I get to use the skills that I started developing as I studied for my GCSEs and A-Levels. I have always loved physics and maths because I love solving problems and learning about how things work. My goal as a tutor is to ensure you get exactly what you want out of our time together, whether that be practice of a specific topic that you find challenging or building confidence in tackling exams. I am approachable, enthusiastic and patient in explaining difficult concepts. I have over five years of experience teaching young people in-person and online. I know that learning is best done when lessons are engaging and student-focused, so I strive to both encourage a genuine interest in physics/maths as well as improve performance in exams.
